Description
Requested byPlease note that color change expressions only work with PMX models and NOT PMD models. So if you create the expression and then try to save your model as a PMD, you will loose the expression.
Edit
In the fifth panel, there was one thing that I didn't know what it changed. I've figured it out now and have updated the tutorial.

Thanks, just started work on pmx and needed a translation of the tab. Β I seen it before, but is there a trick to get All the colors on one slider?

Β yeah that in a single slider. Β sofar i see to get one color per slider, but on some japanses PMX the full spectrum is on a singe slider.

What I showed you was all in one expression. What you want can't be done with the color change expression.
You will need to use a color spectrum texture like this sta.sh/01y4shwfol54 on the part, then create a UV morph expression.

I'm sorry, I don't. This is something I figured out on my own.

NOTE: This works for making parts have AutoLuminous capabilities able to be switched on and off, like to make them flash or something. -w-b

Yeah, I know. The thing with Autoluminous expressions though is that you can also make them for pmd models, not just pmx

I know, and thankfully I'm sticking to PMX models from here on out. Makes it a whole lot nicer to make the models look really good and work really well.

Hey sorry to bother you. But, how do you "save as look" with PMX editor? I mean like what you did for the elite , its weapons are invisible until you use the sliders.

Is it possible to make changing textures an expression?

SirKnightThomas In reply to EpicMickeyX [2012-12-14 01:18:40 +0000 UTC]
I know how to make expressions that change the UV mapping (for example, if you have a red eye and a eye in the same texture file, you can create an expression that will move the texture from the red eye to the blue eye), but I'm not sure if you can actually change to a different texture.

You're welcome.
I think I will also make a tutorial on bone morph expression.

Bone morph expression? does this mean it moves a bone?

Yeah, it's like a pose that's been turned into an expression.

I'm glad I could help.
Now I'm going to create a tutorial for making bone morph expressions.
