Sketching is good! Have you ever tried doing the shading lines at different angles, or following the contour of the object?

As a matter of fact, I have. Many different angles usually result in a disaster. Even now, after 59 days of sketching (which is an eternity!), I am trying to integrate things like that.
Following the contour of the object sounds really interesting! Maybe I should excessively use it in one future sketch to see what effect it has on me.
