Boy, howdy, was THIS an adventure…and it’s not even “done!”This here rough animation was based off of a doodle I did in class, and is also my first foray into traditional animation. A total of 24 frames were drawn for this clip, which took me about 9-10 hours total, give or take (I didn’t do a good job keeping track.)

Flash or Traditional, but I would prefer to learn Traditional and then Flash.
I love Traditional Animation the best, reminds me that someone is alive....

I can just envision Cluster laser fire whizzing all around Jenny as she skillfully avoids it.

VERY nice for a first go at traditional animation. The blending is very smooth and accurately placed.

Thank you! Is there anything I ought to change? The only thing I've been told so far is to add some squash when she lands initially, but I don't know if I should since I want her to maintain a forward momentum throughout the move.

Nothing much to change really. If anything, I would remove a couple frames and/or speed up their playback on the touch down (making her enter the roll at a quicker pace). Other than that, its pretty sound.

I did add a couple extra frames with that first landing, so that should be easy to fix.

This looks good! Your lines are clean and clear! Geez! 9-10 hours?!(I would've given up) Can't wait to see it complete!
