Ok well I did say I was going to do this, hopefully I haven't made too many spelling and grammar mistakes!
I would love to hear your thoughts and stuff about this, even if you don't use it, maybe the layout's a bit rubbish perhaps? or did I skip through the steps too quickly? or have I done too much graffiti? (My pet worries.)
Sorry its soo huge and so long, I did try to make it shorter, I really did! It might take a long time to load too!!
I really hope this helps someone out there! it would be lovely to see anything that you've done while using this tut too
although you don't have to show me if you don't want to!Its 3 past 3

I haven't made a lineart tut, because I do all my stuff by hand, but there are some lovely tutorials in my fav folder here. [link] these where the ones I used when I was starting out, so I would recommend any of these.

Haha, it's a type of program like photoshop, you've got to pay to use it. Apparently it's pretty good, though from what I've seen most of the colouring styles sort of look like watercolour or paint instead of digital colouring. It's nice, but I think it would get a bit annoying after a while!

Oh ok, I like digital colouring but sometimes when the art program makes it look almost exactly the same as a watercolour or something then I think, why not actually paint a watercolour? lol It sounds interesting though.

That's alright! I just felt like there wasn't enough things out there for people who are new to GIMP so I'm glad it helped!

you know how's there's two boxes that appear on gimp whenever you open it. the tools and the layers. well I closed the layers box and dont know how to open it. can you help me out please.

Click on the 'Windows' drop down list, then either chose 'Recently closed Docks' or 'Layer's , Channels, Paths, Undo' etc. I hope that helps!

I love your tutorials but I have GIMP 2, and if it wasn't much trouble, could you make a tutorial on GIMP 2? I just don't have the little box on the right ...

if you mean the layers dialog then just press ctrl + l

It still isn't working, I mean the box on the right where you can choose "multiply" and all that, I've lost that window and I can't seem to get it back.

well if that doesnt work just go to the dialogs option along the top bar and click layers
