When I saw the prompt for "Mindless" I immediately thought of H.P. Lovecraft's deity Azathoth. The Blind Idiot God, who slumbers to the sound of demons playing their hellish drums and melodies made on accursed Flutes.

But unlike many artists who portray H.P. Lovecrafts deity in a design that's comprehensible and logical, I went the true route of Lovecraft's work, making the image of Azathoth chaotic, incomprehensible and entirely alien, the goal being that it would force the viewers to perform all levels of mental gymnastics to make out a complete image that they can never find. Because Azathoth doesn't exist in our dimension, we couldn't hope to begin piecing together what he would look like.
