Ceannai in the flesh. I only made some slight changes to her initial design.

Ok backstory time. I know most of this doesn't make any sense right now but I plan on illustrating it later on:

In their colony, a small number of Meeks manage to reach full size if they eat enough during their growth cycle. Ceannai has managed to outdo her siblings through fierce competition which resulted in most of them getting eaten, having spared Halona to keep as a souvenir to torment, until she decided to leave the colony.

These larger Meeks usually have a higher standing in their society and occupy most of the dwellings underwater while most of the small or average sized Meeks live on the surface and maintain and manage the fake colony which consists of a star-port, shops, restaurants, and spas to lure unwary ships/travelers. Any passengers are later slaughtered for food, and ships and goods are scrapped for resources or bartered with traders they deem essential.

For years, Ceannai has had her ambitions set on becoming "Matriarch", the title given to leader of the colony, and has full confidence that she can defeat the current Matriarch in a duel. Following a tradition the Meeks have loosely imitated from their Kharnuvian counterparts, every few cycles the colony elects a capable challenger to duel the Matriarch- the victor either becomes or keeps the position of Matriarch, and the loser is given the options of either exile from the colony or staying in the colony but having their stinger maimed.

The current Matriarch knows all too well about Ceannai's ambitions, and to spite her, she assigns Ceannai as one of the "greeters", (usually a job done by average sized Meeks) who are responsible for forming the welcome wagon for docking ships and getting the visitors relaxed and their guards down. She absolutely hates being the one having to put on the facade, but has proven to be an effective greeter despite this.

Ceannai also has an addiction to eating Kharnuvian larva, which is a rare delicacy for Meeks and other species due to their succulence. Unfortunately, they are extremely hard to come by due to regulations and are considered contraband in most star systems within the law, but Ceannai has managed to illegally and covertly trade with pirates/smugglers in order to get them.
