Description
Godzilla as a Plateosaur.
One idea I’ve read is that Godzilla might be derived from some sort of carnivorous or omnivorous plateosaur, sort of like the inverse of therizinosaurs. An interesting idea.
I was surprised to learn while researching for this that prosauropods aren’t really a scientifically classified clade anymore. They’ve been placed into the sauropodomorph suborder. Also, saw a lot of art with them walking in a quadrupedal stance, which doesn’t look too convenient.

Well, concerning the pose and locomotion of early sauropodomorphs, it varies but it is true that we used to reconstruct Plateosaurus, Massospondylus and Co as quadrupedals while they were actually obligate bipeds. Only later species like Melanorosaurus might have been more quadrupedal. Very good design and cool idea. ^^

That movie was wild.
Everything was happening, yet Godzilla and Anguirus didn't get there until the end... it was weird man.

It's the kind of movie to watch when you've got a cold or its raining out.

Is this a joke about the American dub of Godzilla vs. Gigan?

Was working on redesigns of Godzilla and Anguirus, wanted something to fill in the empty space. Speech bubbles from that movie worked, and that conversation synched with the amount of pieces I was doing for each of them.

This is really neat! Even cooler than your other two.
Basal sauropodomorphs like Plateosaurus couldn't even walk on all fours because they'd be breaking their wrists to do it. They were 100% bipedal.

Makes sense. I toyed with the idea of making this Godzilla in a quadrupedal stance, but it just didn't feel right. The forearms are too short, as well as shortening their maximum neck reach.
And thanks, glad you like it.
