Description
The miniature dome ceiling is a nod to the historic preservation 1904 New York City Hall Loop City Hall station (IRT Lexington Avenue Line) - Wikipedia I strongly recommend doing a image search of this beautiful historic subway station, the very first one built in NYC.

The original 1904 NYC loop subway station was only a single outside-the-curve platform but this miniature is a double platform so one could walk across the inner curve platform (under the archways on the left) and connect to another cross town subway. The Subway Model is entirely lit by Fiber Optics sourced from a super bright LED flashlight under the model (no heat, no fans). Even the implied oncoming subway train is just a block of wood painted flat black with two fiber optic end "headlights" pointed right at the viewer.

Everything is set in a turn-of-the-century style right down to the vintage collector HO scale mini people in period costume and vintage HO subway cars.
