This is a wood cube with 4 triangles inside. None of the triangles actually touch each other because each of the 3 triangle vertices only touch the midpoint of each of the 12 edges of the cube. They are interwoven yet totally independent.(4 triangles x 3 vertices each = 12, same number of edges in a cube)
Whats really cool is that when you turn over the cube in any direction, you get exactly the same profile within the triangles. Totally symmetrical on all 3 axis.
9" tall
I am making this again with each of the 4 triangles stained different colors to show them off better. It's really hard to see them in a photo one color this way.
