Description
This is the other clouded leopard at the zoo. It has been described as having a more feral look than the other leopard. This guy is usually asleep for whatever reason, but not this time. I managed to empty the better part of a roll of film on him.EDIT (03-22-07): One of my reuploads during this pictureless stretch. Went ahead and vertical-ized it because I think it looks better that way. The whole thing's a little noisy for my tastes, but what's a guy going to do? Enjoy.

Adorable shot, the expression is fantastic. It's a shame the picture looks a lil' grainy, but otherwise that's one pretty lookin' kitty!

Yup. This picture is from way back when i still used 800 speed film, so that could account for most of the grain.

Wow, just from the few pictures I found on Webshots, it looks like a really good zoo. If it wouldn't cost a hundred bucks up and back I might make use of that free admission. Someday I'm going to go on a zoo road trip or something and hit all the zoos in the US that I've been wanting to visit. San Diego, Nashville, The Bronx, St. Louis, etc, etc. Someday when I have a little more than no money...

Yeah, there's more than one way to make money. I have a job with my student organizatoin, but it's not many hours so it's not quite enough for me to do anything with. And I'm volunteering at the zoo this summer, so I probably won't have the time then. But we'll see what the future brings.

Wow, I could have sworn that was an Ocelot (do you get people telling you that often?). The face is so very similar. I can see the differences from an Ocelot though, in the markings on its side and also by the size of it. Beautiful Photo.

Yup, I get questions about that surprisingly often. Actually, not so much any more, but initially, I got a lot of questions. It's understandable though. A lot of the smaller wild cats look similar. The ones I used to get mixed up were the ocelot and the serval. Which is strange, because they actually don't look that much alike.
