Description
This is the cover and back cover to my daughter's birthday party invitation. We are only inviting immediate and extended family so I feel bad that I'm only sending a few of these out in the mail.I wanted to recapture the grungier Sesame Street from my childhood days. The Sesame Street books back in the 70's were illustrated with such a unique group of artists. I still have all of mine!
Now Elmo and Zoe rule all with their neon poppy colors and mass produced clip art illustrations...DAMN YOU ELMO...DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!
I miss all the un-PC characters like Roosevelt Franklin, The Two-headed Monster, Frazzle, Herry Monster, Bruno the Construction Worker, Guy Smiley, Sherlock Hemlock, The sleazy street vendor guy, and that crazed piano player that used to smash his head on the keyboard.

I'm sure we all wish your daughter a very happy birthday. I know I do. And Sesame Street? I only wish I had Sesame Street invites when I was that age. I grew up with this show.

The one where they're trying to figure out what the phone is was the BESSST. BRRRRWWWWWIIIIING! XD
Sam the Robot... ehhh... maybe. I was never a HUUUUGE Sesame Street enthusiast as a child, unfortunately, but he sounds familiar. If he wasn't around in the late 80's then maybe not...
Anyway, you're welcome! : D
