The Imp-Pod (not to be confused with the Imp-Bot of the Pure Galactic Empire) a.k.a. the Imperial Escape Pod (not to be confused with the TIE Pod of the Pure Galactic Empire), is the Galactic Empire's answer to a better an efficient way of evacuation. In 3 ABY after the events of Episode V, the Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer: The Orthrus that had four Twi'lek secret lovers and prostitutes (all of them rumoured to be pregnant with Sidious's hybrid children, which was actually later to be revealed as true) of Emperor Darth Sidious/Sheev Palpatine/The Emperor, was destroyed when it entered an asteroid field in an attempt to chase down and destroy a rebel EF76 Nebulon-B Escort frigate ship. Since the escape pods on that ship were shoddy built then they all malfunctioned and failed to launch, and with the other ships successfully escaping the damaged destroyer, the other crew members including the four Twi-leks perished on board the Orthrus when it exploded. A distress call in the form of a hologram with a pre-recorded messeage, was sent to Sidious himself, who was on Coruscant overseeing parties that he had attended for Empire Day (which was in Legends and Infinities by the way), until Sate Pestage informed Sidious of the message hologram call. The hologram was that of The Orthrus captain: Captain Egnaro Tripe, who said that the asteroids had badly damaged the ship, the escape pods had malfunctioned, and that the Twi-lek lovers with the remaining crew were going to die (although he said 'we're all basically f***ed!'). When the message ended with Captain Egnaro Tripe getting destroyed by an explosion (that ripped the Orthrus to pieces), Sidious was very sad to the point of getting angry, but this event was a wake-up call for him to call upon the empire to create the best escape pod, for the imperial way of life of the future. It took just two months (of the same year 3 ABY) for the best qualified, intelligent minded, and highly trained imperial engineers, to create the Imp-Pod which resembled a ISD-72x Deflector Shield Generator Dome. Testing of the Imp-Pod took place over the planet of Hoth, where one imperial human volunteer went into the escape pod which was launched out of the Star Destroyer: The Unicorn, unfortunately, the Imp-Pod crashed and smashed into lots of burnt pieces, killing the volunteer inside. Despite this failure, Sidious realised that the hull strength needed to be adjusted to the right strength to survive a grand fall, and after 9 more failed attempts over a month, the final product came of the factory line and ready for action. Above the Planet Byss, the Imp-Pod was launched out of The Unicorn and crash landed in a safe zone unharmed, with the volunteer getting out and waving the 'all clear' sign in front of cameras and holograms, and activating the transponder for the imperial searchers to pick them both up. Impressed by this smashing success (Darth Vader also favoured the Imp-Pod), Sidious demanded that every imperial ship, fleet, and space station, to be fitted with Imp-Pods right away, whilst demanding millions and billions of Imp-Pods to be created right now. A week before the events of Episode VI in 4 ABY, one hundred million Imp-Pods (the number now is well into the trillions) had been created, and every single imperial ship, fleet, and spacestation, including the Death Star II, had Imp-Pods ready to go. After the Battle of Endor, the Imp-Pod continued to be manufactured as if nothing had ever happened, and when Thrawn returned to help the struggling empire, he kept the Imp-Pod around since Thrawn liked the simple built escape pod. The Imp-Pod continued to serve under many organisations including the Imperial Remnant, the Fel Empire, the One Sith Empire, and beyond. Each imperial ship, would deploy around 200,000 Imp-Pods in times of emergency, each with one lucky human being inside (no clones, aliens, and robots allowed, due to the imperial's view of pro-human and anti-non-human) and the survivor could be anyone, from a stormtrooper to an imperial guard, as well as from an imperial officer to a TIE Pilot. A door at the back of the Imp-Pod, would open up when the person would press down on a series of buttons of a panel, which would open to reveal a spacious inside for the person to get in. After activating the control panel inside, the outside panel goes inside the pod and the engine booster activates. It takes just a mili-second to eject the Imp-Pod into space, where it will crash land on a safe location, where the survivor would get out the same way he got in. Defectors liked to use the Imp-Pod to get away from the empire and defect to other sides. Unfortunately, the Pure Galactic Empire refused to use and buy some Imp-Pods, as they had their TIE/esc Pod of their own to use. The Imp-Pod continued service well into 180+ ABY, when one Imp-Pod containing an imperial officer called Jherf Greds (of the newly established Imperial Remnant, since the One Sith Empire collapsed in 139 ABY) went into the black hole at the centre of the Star Wars galaxy, in order to escape pirates that had destroyed an Imperial Star Destroyer: The Medusa. So many Imp-Pods went in random directions, but the one with Jherf in it went into the black hole, which people thought was just instant death (and even Jherf thought that too). However, the he and his Imp-Pod went inside the black hole, through a tunnel, and out of a white hole. Jherf realised that he had entered a parallel universe, and that this Star Wars galaxy in this paralle universe had a white hole in the centre. Furthermore, Jherf also found out that the Galactic Empire was in charge, Darth Vader was long dead, and Darth Sidious (who had abandoned his name Sheev Palpatine permanently, and was now addressed as Emperor Darth Sidious, whilst being also known as Emperor Sidious by his enemies) was now an evil dark side god of existence (possibly the parallel universe Jherf is in, but only this universe) and of evil. The Almighty Emperor Darth Sidious welcomed Jherf to his new domain, and put him to work as an imperial admiral of a giant Imperial III-Class Star Destroyer (the size of the Eclipse of Legends): The Ultimate, and explained to him that his endgame was complete and he had won everything (similar to the endgame goals in canon (of the Tarkin book of canon), but Sidious didn't want Vader around, nor did he want another apprentice ever, and wanted to abandon the Rule of Two Sith teaching for good), plus, Emperor Darth Sidious said 'Why an apprentice, when you are god, the Rule of Two Sith is long dead as it has fulfilled its duty, Lord Vader is dead alongside his two children (who are now in the afterlife permanently), the clones are no more as they have also fulfilled their duty, the Hutts have outlived their usefulness, no more do I require the acolytes, assassins, inquisitors, dark side followers, and advisers that hound me, just like the politicians of old, and now the invasion of all parallel universes is now well underway (although Emperor Darth Sidious cannot conquer them all, he can certainly try).'. Plus, Emperor Darth Sidious God has also expelled all the good (which faded away into the next life, although which life it went to is unknown) that spared Vader a nasty death on Mustafar (I am not joking, this is a true Legends fact, and I found it on Youtube since I am not making this up), leaving only a pure evil being that will rule this universe and will attempt to conquer all life. There is still yet to be some more info, but the imperial archives are slow at updating so expect updates, but in the far future in about ten years or so (but only in the Star Wars Legends and/or Infinities universes ).

Imperial information ends here.

So, what do you think?

I am not obsessed with escape pods, it's just I want to get them out the way, before someone else but me does it.

Also, since the Pure Galactic Empire had the TIE Escape Pod, and Robotnik had the Death Egg Prototype Egg-scape Pod, then I just wanted the Galactic Empire to have its own escape pod, in the form of the Imp-Pod .

Plus, this is similar to when M. Bison of Street Fighter expelled all the good out of him to be pure evil, and the good became the femme fatale called Rose.

I have seen the original ISD-72x Deflector Shield Generator Dome in the movies, and even though it is entirely different from my creation, I decided why not an OC Design of it.

Thank You .
