Description
Part of the 100 themed challenge. I Painted this one this time, and used my secondary none cartoony style (this painting killed me. That's how long it took for me to finish this.)
Though Crome is supposed to be a freakishly hideous Irken mutation, he's only criminally insane (does not know the differences between wrong, and right. Even if they might actually know it.)
The rest that is bad: is that he's just neurotic, aggressive, anti-social, sadistic and other things explained in his not so detailed but long profile. Good traits are in his profile and I'm not explaining it in this DA because it's supposed to be the theme insanity, or I'm just too lazy
He also gets thrown in prison quite often, and not the nice clean decent ones either.
Was practicing lighting on this one. Now to head off to bed because I am beat!!!
He's not cute. He's supposed to be ugly, and gruesome!

Yup, he's not too hard to catch but keeping him contained he can easily find some way to escape even if it takes a long time or months. He luckily wasn't sentenced to death yet since he was usually forgotten sometimes in the back of the prison.

Now there is a face only a cold, unfeeling robot arm could love.
I think you did really well with the lighting, and I like how you added extra grime onto his PAK. That was a nice touch.

Oh yeah, though I hope my art teachers do. I paid more than $35,000 to get into art college, and if they're not very good then I might be a little disappointed...okay maybe a lot.
Though they seem quite very serious, and aren't even afraid to call anyone's work a piece of crap if you get anatomy, lighting, or anything wrong depending on your skill level. Sometimes they're scary admit O.o

And I thought Universities here in England were expensive. 
That sounds scary as hell, I don't think I'd be crazy/brave/stupid enough to show teachers like that my work. How do you cope with it?

I just take the advice, or fix the problem right away. Luckily my art was only called crap once, and some of them actually liked my art. However the teachers all can draw better than us due to them showing us their illustrations, paintings, etc. Their words are harsh but it does help us improve quite at a fast speed since they're so intimidating

This is awesome! You're great with lighting and all the little details of the scars and wrinkles.
I'm curious about his PAK, though. It looks a bit lopsided, like it doesn't go straight down his spine. Was that intentional?

It's just the way his body is probably turned that's doing that. His PAK can't be too closely attached to his spine or he'd be stuck in a straight position.
