This is my entry for the Summer Contest being hosted by .What summer means to me is escaping civilization, after being cooped up and snowed in for months, and camping out as long as possible (usually until more snow forces us back indoors). If I wasn't able to spend some of my summer in the woods, I think I'd go crazy. I need the complete quiet of nature to recharge my batteries and make me more pleasant to be around.
This was taken in the Great Bear Wilderness in Northwestern Montana.

Yeah. I'm not a skier, so I pretty much spend my winters holed up inside at the computer. I can make up for it through the summer, though, with camping.

I would spend my whole winter down in west Yellowstone if I could. It's my favorite part. ^_______^ Camping rocks my face off too.

My son was with me, but he won't let me photograph him, and the animals around here are too fast. We spotted a coyote in the road and before I could even think about getting the camera out, he was gone.
