This is my entry for the Summer Contest being hosted by .

What summer means to me is escaping civilization, after being cooped up and snowed in for months, and camping out as long as possible (usually until more snow forces us back indoors). If I wasn't able to spend some of my summer in the woods, I think I'd go crazy. I need the complete quiet of nature to recharge my batteries and make me more pleasant to be around.

This was taken in the Great Bear Wilderness in Northwestern Montana.
