Wish: The one thing Vannessa wanted more than anything else was to be able to see the world and its beauty. She could feel it, hear it, touch it, smell it, but was lost when it came to her sight. Her wish was to change that. She wished for perfect vision so that she could see everything around her. Unfortunately, she got that wish. Eyes now cover her body and she was made to be a side show freak. Each blinking eye casted awe into her onlookers as the gawked at her disfigurement. They would yell and point and comment, and with so many voices came the hell that was now Vannessa's life. With so many eyes, she literally saw in so many directions. She became disoriented and locked in a threshold of headaches and migraines alike. Every sound uttered is now just another beating to her mind, and every moment with all her eyes open is another step into her plague of misery. She tries to keep them closed as often as possible, but being in the circus, she is expected to show them off. When she doesn't, consequences unfold.

Personality: Before her wish, Vannessa was rather outgoing and talkative. She'd speak to as many as she could an have them describe to her what was around them. She held no jealousy to those who could see, rather instead holding envy and desire. The descriptions became her eyes and with her mind being so wildly active, she used those to create imagery for herself which only made her all the happier.

After her wish however, that engaged life and outspoken voice all but vanished. She became silent and secluded, gripping and frustrated. Even with so much going wrong Vannessa keeps herself in check; her voice quiet, her actions slow and calm. When she speaks it's soft and with a shy voice, hiding behind it that desire to once again be herself. She's not difficult to befriend, but it is easy for her mood to change quickly upon the worsening of her headaches.

History: Her hometown was within Jhoto in Violet City. She had a rather decent family with a mother, father, a brother and a sister, but unlike all of them, she saw the world in absolute darkness. Her family suffered from weak eyesight because of what they were. Every member in it had a pair of glasses ranging from as thick as life to a moderate size. It was incredibly rare for anyone to be born with vision keen enough to where they could avoid glasses. Sadly, Vannessa is the exact opposite of the spectrum with the same rare result. She never needed glasses because her vision never came. A hundred percent blind, the young Dunsparce was trapped in a sea of black every second of every day. Her parents felt bad for their girl, but knew that with their family, it was always a risk to have a child with no sight at all.

Vannessa spent her life in the dark with only the description of what was around her and her mind to tell her how beautiful something was. The only part of the world that was known to her was the ground she slithered across. The way it felt told her enough about what was beneath her to satisfy a percentile of her desire. As she grew older, her desire grew stronger. She became enthralled by everything and even though she needed a lot of help getting places, she made sure to never let that harm her personality. No one ever laughed at his disability either, instead being rather drawn in by how optimistic she was even in her situation.

Her siblings eventually left when they were old enough to go about their lives, leaving her alone with her aging parents. Thankfully she knew Violet City by heart now and was able to get around fairly well on her own, allowing her now elderly parents to rest and take time to focus on their own needs rather than her own. It was during this time did she begin to feel just a twinge of sadness due to the darkness. She never saw what her siblings looked like before they left to go about their lives. She didn't even know what she looked like. Not truly at least. All she had were the images her mind created. When she heard of Circus Darkrai as well as a rumored wish that could grant you your hearts desire... or whatever it was you asked for (like a hotdog), she was quick to find out when it could arrive and where it would set up.

From there, her life was destined to a path that would make her inability to see become the new desire. She went to the circus and struggled to get around, often relying on everyone around her to help her avoid crashing into what was set up. Many were nice and aided her along. The last person to help her though, was the cold hand of the master of this circus. Curious to her being at his show despite not being able to see, Mr. Darkrai and Vannessa began to talk. The discussion lead to the mention of a wish, and seeing no reason to not grant her one, he offered it. His only wish for her in return, was for her to become apart of his life. For the price of sight, Vannessa agreed.

Likes: Surprisingly enough, her favorite thing in the world is darkness now. The night, the silence, it's her only moment of rest and recovery from her headaches and disorientation. It's also the only time when she can just keep every single eye closed and use only one to see should she dare to open them. She still enjoys being around others, but requires them to speak softly to her or at least try to.

Dislikes: The sideshow, seeing, loud noises, and being forced to keep all her eyes open for the entertainment of the guests that come. It's torment for her because of how sick she can get from it. She also can't stand crying. It's disorientating already to see from so many directions, but for each eye to become blurred from tears is even worse.

Move set:
1. Roost (flying) – uses it constantly during the day when she's on stage. It's how she can get through each and every day.
2. Glare (normal) – a performance move that is both despised and liked. Used to provoke an essence of fear during a show, it is also used on the side on individuals that agitate her. Getting annoyed by someone? Paralyze them and then walk... slither away. How can it miss with eyes covering every square inch of your flesh?
3. Dig (ground) – a last resort type move that has gotten her into trouble in the past. It was used during a performance to go underground to get away from the sounds. It respectively got her punished, but remains a move she knows for that last resort bit. Should the noise become intolerable she'll plunge underground to try and escape it.
4. Calm Mind (psychic) – used to help try and heal her mind after the circus closes and everyone retires to bed. It helps to relieve her of her pain.

Extra Info
- Vannessa cannot read: Despite having the ability to see now, she never sought out any assistance in learning how to read the letters on a page. She absolutely loves books though and enjoys having them read to her. Books were her original eyes along with descriptions.
- Even with sight, Vannessa still has other heightened senses. Her strongest sense is touch (mostly because she's a serpent). Ironically, her weakest is still sight.
