... With neither glitter, not gutters. Hmmm. But the words across it are from the song of the same name by Switchblade Symphony, which I had playing almost constantly while doing this. So it counts. Honest. *grin*The idea came to me a few days ago that, probably, most of my male characters in my comic-y idea could probably translate very well into females. So I tried it. And ... they do. : D Introducing Donatienne~ ... Nyaha. I keep starting things and not finishing them, so getting this up feels sort of like an acheivement. Really.
Drawn in PaintBBS in about three hours, text added in PhotoShop afters.
My keyword is "bazongas". Because I can. o_o

great job on the pose, gaze, setup, and shading - i especially drooled over the top she's wearing *darn my now damp keyboard*
ok i'll scrutinise a bit more...um, i think her nose might be a bit long (altho this really depends on the person) but i think it should lie closer to 1/2 way between the eyes and chin. her ear could do with moving up a lil bit - it should lie between the middle of the eye on the top of the nose (as i am led to believe anyway..) - moving her nose up would also keep the ear in proportion.
depending on what you're going for, her chin might be a little angular (but that's personal drawing taste more than anything...its just at the mo im being pestered about making my faces less angular

This is a neat character design, just so that you know. Black and red are the best color combinations in my opinion. Anyway!
What I like about this is how simple yet detailed it is. I'm not really sure how that makes a whole lot of sense, but...I think it's just that it looks like something you could do real fast, yet at the same time not allow that to hinder the quality of it. (It usually takes me ages to draw something that looks as good, and even then it's still doesn't compare.)
The nose seems to be a bit big, at least it seems that way to me but that's not all that bothersome. I still really like it, especially the way you did the lips for some odd reason. I don't know, they just seem so full and pretty. You draw girl lips very well. I also really like your style of eyes for some odd reason. It's like a mixture between realism and anime.
Speaking of comics, you totally need to do one.
