this is great but how are you gettin it to taper off @ the ends? i come across brush tut with beautiful edges to the brushes b4 could u help me please ..?

In brush settings play with the shape dynamics. I like setting the control to fade under size jitter. then fill in any number above zero next to the control box.I use about 70 and up. The higher the number the longer then line. Then adjust minimum diameter just below the control box which will cause the line to taper off at one end. The lower the number the more it tapers off. This is settings I use for mouses when I am playing with hair. But this can help with line art too...

I can't get mine to look like hair even with the spacing set as low as it goes. D: When I download hair brushes it works fine, but I can't seem to make my own.
Any advice? e.e;

pokefreak~ I gotta ask you from your point of view, do you do your artworks on pen over pencil? or you scan then print, then trace the printed work? I've been having problems with my linearts cos they don't go as dark as your linearts or other works. I'd like your advice please?

erm i do em in pen, then scan, then just darken on photoshop
