Ahh yeah that's a good way to do fast and natural feeling poses, thanks for sharing
I always start doing them in a bigger format - sometimes I end up creating a weird pose that doesn't look too comfortable, but I always think "You have to go with it 'cause you put a lot of time and effort into it" :-/

If only drawing at extreme high and low angles could be made into a step-by-step tutorial like this, bleh

I picked up drawing again recently and started testing different ways to go about when sketching. A quick gesture sketch seemed to work best for me. I do hope that's the case 'cuz it would suck to change techniques all the time. And I've been trying various approaches quite a lot.
