Originally Page 2 and 3 here were a single page, that I decided to split into two for the sake of better pacing - or some such. And, in fact, this conversation was supposed to go differently with Toshiro actually becoming insulted by Leo's questions, as he was interpreting them as complaints which, being a prisoner, Leonardo has no right to make.
But after realizing the hostilities rising between them would lead Toshiro into making an unnecessary threat, I decided to change the overall tone of their conversation to express something else. Believe me, if you're a Leo fan, the next two pages will get your dander up - and then we'll finally get to see Leo express his FRUSTRATION with his whole situation.
Anyway, I think Toshiro is having decidedly more fun with this conversation than Leo is - as we'll soon see.

I thought that Leo might feel that the Foot need some proper training. But not only that he's all in foot black, so it just sort of felt like Karai was owning him.

Now, now, Leo. If you must know, Karai thinks you have a terrible fashion sense of kneepads and wrist wraps and decided to have that Hakama, and the bountiful feast is to keep your energy up for the nights ahead.
In all seriousness Leo you must know that Karai believe's only in you. Yes, it is wrong that she's keeping you prisoner and feeds on you. But only because you are Karai's first and only option.
Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what's next.
