Originally I had it planned for Toshiro to be a lot more hostile towards Leonardo. But, seeing that would lead to an issue, the scenario became what you see here.ALSO, no need to get mad a Karai! She didn't actually say ANY of this to Toshiro. Everything he's saying is his own opinion; he assumed a lot after Karai told him she wasn't satisfied with Leo's condition and wanted him to be fed & cared for properly.
And now Leo has decided to take off his haori for some reason.

They hate the fact that he's living amongst them, but know that if he was not, Karai would likely be feeding off of them - thus the begrudging tolerance they afford him.
