Description Bahhh! I don't know what to do with these characters. I like them, they pop up in my head from time to time, but I kind of don't know what to do with them, and I don't really want to write their story at the moment. It's heavily based on fairy tales (its not any specific one, but a mash up of a heck of a lot of them), and to be honest, I've been seen so many fairytales in the media lately that...man, I'm almost sick of them...

I don't hate fairy tales or anything, I owe so much to them, but I am feeling really over-inundated.

Ummm, yeah, anyway. He's dying...because that's what I always draw him doing. And Bell's all like "Noooes, I wubs you!" And then he's all like "It's cool baby, I can't feel a thing."

Well, no wait, let me explain things better.

He is dying, and it's slow. He got a wound on his hand that eventually went septic, so blood poisoning. (Though, if you actually do have blood poisoning, you would not be that lucid, it is nasty.) There isn't much anyone can do, but Bell has decided she's going to stick around and care for him. (I actually think she somehow got free of her curse, which was that she coughed up gems when she spoke, painful!) He wakes up super early in the morning and asks her to help him up to the roof. He's pretty sure he's going to die in the next few hours, he doesn't want to do it locked up in a dark, small room.

So that's about it. She's just kind of waiting with him while he's dying, and she's trying not to, but she is freaking out a bit and he's just kind of serene about it all.

And I scribbled it, and then decided to try and ink it. Didn't get very far, but thought I'd share the results with you guys. Unfinished as it is, which is largely because I have a short attention span. I know there are a few people who've been asking about these two, otherwise I probably wouldn't post it.

Image quality is a little poor, and I hope you guys will forgive me for that. I don't really have access to a scanner until January, so I have to take photo's of my work and then edit them in GIMP, which I don't really understand.

These two belong to me, whatever I may do with them. If you're interested you can find more about them here - [link]

No one gets tired of fairy tales, that's why they are so persistent even in today's society. You could look at it as a challenge to your creativity on how to present your ft-based stories, but you already put a unique perspective on them that isn't shown by the media.

I geuss I'm not tired of fairy tales so much as seeing people doing them and feeling like they're absolutely missing the point of these stories. I think outside of that, it's simply a matter of people getting on the bandwagon, it seems like everyone is doing one now, but that few are being done with care. Thank you very much though, I'm glad that you feel that way about my stories, and I appreciate that you are encouraging me to keep with it.

You are emphatically forgiven for the quality of the image scan, although I wish I could come up with a setting that would suit these two. It's tragically romantic.

Lol, yeaaaiiisss...this is a problem for me. I kind of run away from drawing backgrounds because I still have a very incomplete knowledge of perspective. That being said, I've been working on practicing only with backgrounds. I'm nto sure if I'll ever get around to drawing a background specifically for this scene, but just imagine that it's a garden growing on top of an old brick house. Something about 1910 or 1911. All around them are roses, lavender, lilacs...but mostly roses. Not growing in a greenhouse, but just on the roof. The sun is coming up...That would be about it I think. They're facing the sunrise...but yeahhhhhh I need to work with more backgrounds.XD
