Description
When you click on the "Watch this deviant" link this little pop-up appears. There you can select what of the deviant you want to be notified of (notice the separation of News and Journals!) and in which group you want to put them. (Creating groups still belongs in the "Manage Friends" page.)Disclaimer: this idea isn't totally new, it has been proposed in the Suggestion forum before, and I even made a similar mock-up a while ago and posted it in the forums as well. I re-did it now to match the dA v6 design.
This deviation may take part in the ARTicul8! Contest .

I have a "Quick devWatch script" installed. Will this work for that?

I'm not quite sure what script you're talking about, but if it's the one I'm thinking of then.. well.. it only doesn't load up the Manage Friends page, but you're stuck with the default options (Friends yes, deviations yes, scraps no, journals yes). So yes, the script makes things easier IF you're fine with the defaults.

I've often wondered why a feature like this didn't exist. It breaks the flow of browsing to have to "fix" the added watch by re-adding them to the right category and then click the appropriate boxes. I'll spend way too much time going back through my watches and adding them to categories.

Yep, it would save you heaps of time. After all, something similar exists for adding favourites, so why not have it here as well?
Of course, managing multiple deviants still belongs on a separate page (but the one we got now could also use some upgrades).

I totally want this. The page for managing watches is seriously annoying and muddled. Something like this would make it that much better when adding someone to watch!

Indeed, thanks! Although I wouldn't get rid of the "Manage Friends" page altogether, it's still useful for managing your friends (of course it could use a re-write), but it wouldn't show up every time you add another deviant to it

Well yeah. The way I see it (or want it), is that no, it won't redirect you anywhere.
You click the link, the pop-up shows up, and after you hit "submit" the pop-up closes again, but the page won't reload. There could be another feedback though that shows you that you successfully added them to your list - like when you add a deviation to your favourites: the link "Watch this deviant" would instantly change to "watching this deviant", e.g.
