Description Photoshop CS2

Done for CGTalk contest. Had to take a plate of a museum and turn into a natural setting so I chose a cavern/cave type thing. Hope you like it!

Holy crud, I've never been featured so a big thanks to Deviant for it! I've never seen so many messages! Thanks to all the nice things said too. The museum was a plate provided of the Natural History Museum of London for those who were wondering.

Just magical, I love this piece. It's very imaginative and the details draw in the eye.
I can't even begin to think how much time and effort went into this, but the result is excellent.

Some friends bought me this in big print for my wall and although some areas appear much dimmer than on the deviation here (the left corner and the waterfall area in the centre are very dark in the print) it still looks great

the idea of 'nature taking over what human has created' has been an idea that ive been hearing alot lately, particularly in art classes - but this is by far the best, well constructed representation of that i've seen yet! i absolutely ADORE the idea, the thought, not to mention the sheer beauty of of the buildings, flowers, walls, etc. i absolutely love it congrats on the DD, well deserved!
