You most likely will need to make sure you're both playing on the same browser(or .swf projector). For some reason, certain browsers don'tΒ communicate with different browsers in flash.

What I noticed is how seriously broken Kurumi is... (I managed to get 20 lives in Classic easy mode, 10 lives in Explosive mode)

A lot of abilities are pretty broken, I've tried to make ALL ability sets somewhat broken for a sort of balance, it's not perfect though.

It appears this game doesn't seem to want to run correctly, I set it to run Adobe Flash Player, but it's stuck like that, nothing else happens, any idea why?

If you see a box mentioning flash, click it even if it says you don'tΒ have flash or etc. it should bring up a "do you want to run flash" prompt, the game should start after you accept.
If your browser refuses to run it, you can always download both the game Β and open it with theΒ flash player projector to have it run directly from your desktop instead(flash tends to work better this way anyway).

I tried that method with clicking it, my Flash is set to allowed all over DeviantArt, I'm not sure why it's refusing to run for this game, but I'll try those other options if all else fails

If your flash player hasn't been updated in a few years, it's possible that would prevent it from running. Other than that the game is set up to run automaticallyΒ on DA(if enabled).

If your browser is having trouble with flash you can play the game offline using the flash player projector instead, of course, you'll need to download the game to your computer along with the projector.

Yeah, you just lose your score, since your score affects unlockable character spawns they'll end up spawning less often after a game over.

CAn I Report a small glitch here? IN the truck horder mini-game, it is possible to jump onto the POW Block. ON there, the truck despawns while you still are holding it, with KAguya and MOkou still running around unable to reach you, now running around randomly.

The trophy & truck are supposed to despawn if you try to hide on a floating object for too long withoutΒ touching the ground. However the fact that the game doesn't resolve/prevent such a thing is an oversight.

I can't agree more with ya there. I'm positive they might have
it for the 3DS eShop.
Speaking of which, I'd be DAMNED to wonder when Zun might
create a 3DS title or a Nintendo Switch title for a touhou game!
I've heard he or some fans of made a few RPG games for the
PSP and PS3 and PS4, but I've never played, let alone know of
their existence. Something similar to Final Fantasy, I'd like to
believe.
Changing the subject, one of the best fangames I've played so
far is Touhou Mother. I'm only in the first few segments of the
game.
SpoilerΒ Alert!
Right now I'm actually in the Tengu village in the mountains.
It's a great game, but nowhere near perfect. Nothing really is,
tbfh.

That's an event that only happens in the space stage. if you see an exclamation point instead of a flag on your progress bar during the space stage, I'd hit all items from below instead of touching them directly to be safe.

Were you playing right from this page? everytime i put out a new update, DA assigns it a new server which messes up the saves, it is possible in this case to track down saves from the other servers but it can tricky if you had multiple server saves.Β
If it was a downloaded version then it was probably flash messing things up as always(in which case it's probably too late and flash derped up and deleted the data)...Β
I always use flash projector to run flash programs, it can be more stable than trying to run it in a browser.

There's some info for finding flash save data here. Β the file you'll need to find is "ReimuBrosData.sol", if you copy the save data into the "localhost" folder the save will be available for an offline copy of the game without the risk of future updates wiping out the save data. as for what specific folder has your save, I really don't know... i haven't kept track of all the servers that DA has randomly swapped the game around on.

Well, it appears that this game has received quite the overhaul since last I've looked at it. This game has come a long way from the tiny Mario Bros. clone it used to be. Allow me to offer my thoughts upon the new features:
Adventure Mode: This is a fantastic concept. I love the scrolling levels as they add so much variety to what can eventually become a repetitive experience. Plus, the wide variety of enemies based on character powers and inside jokes offers a unique experience to the Mario Bros. gameplay that I feel gives this game a unique identity. I also love the concept of acquiring items a la Super Smash Bros. and using their powers to defeat foes, although I feel like they could use some better effects and some sounds to go with them to give them that extra oomph.
However, I once encountered a game-ending bug in the form of an enemy that wouldn't spawn. I think it happened because a Nazrin got stuck somewhere during a vertically-scrolling stage, and therefore the stage would never end because I could not kill the enemy. I'm not 100% sure, and, given the random nature of Adventure mode, I would have much difficulty reproducing this as a player. My theory is that it attempted to jump up to the platform, missed, and fell into the endless void at the bottom of the screen.
UFOS: In theory, this mechanic would provide a decent Risk-Vs-Reward dynamic, as they can generate quite a lot of point items in a short amount of time while they bombard you with points. A great idea in theory, however since this mechanic was practically lifted wholesale from Undefined Fantasic Object, I don't find it worth waiting at the top of the screen to collect three UFOs of the same color to get the bonus that I want, since paying attention to the UFOs distracts me from the enemies spawning and chasing me around the stage, so I eventually ended up just ignoring them entirely.
Customization: Great idea in theory, however I feel like you don't generate enough mon to be able to reasonably purchase every part from Create.swf. The fastest way I found to collect mon was to use the 2husonparade cheat and grind imposters, since they give you 1 mon per-kill for every character you have unlocked, and since they're vastly easier than the random enemies, it's super-easy to get the 30 mon for beating 30 stages without dying. Plus, I really dislike how the parts are randomly generated on the shop menu. I think it would be better to search through the catalog of character parts based on type (Bodies, Arms, etc.), rather than simply blow money on parts you don't want just so that you can hope the game will generate a part you do want.
Overall, I'm loving what you're doing to this game, and look forward to seeing any improvements you make in the future!

1.The game lacks a bunch of sounds in general, I still need to look around some more.
2.I've experienced the issue before, but wasn't ready to debug it. the game should still continue even if an optional enemy is left. I'll tweak Nazrin's despawn, and add an extra check to the vertical scrolling levels, hopefully it will be fixed.
3.The UFO mechanic is harder to utilize than I often realize, but it's a powerful resource that's hard to balance, I could switch the mechanic out with something else, but I've not come up with any ideas I've liked enough.
4.Due to the shop item "unlocks", the customization shop is going to be frustrating to some level. But I do so to try to provide a bit of extra motivation to people spending several hours on the game. If I removed the frustration, I don't see why someone wouldn't just buy the parts to make their author avatar after only a short playthrough, and be done with the Mon/shop/customization system entirely. This way I feel there's more motivation to actually use your Mon.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like the changes.
