hey i've noticed in step 3 theres a like a gradient style on his hair? how do you do that? i can only do plain 'ol cell shading so its kinda hard for me to get the exact look.. can you please help me?

Yeah, I put a gradient over his hair layer. It's a fill option? Do you use photoshop?

yeah im using cs2.. ahehe im really not used to using gradient stuff thats why im a little confuse

I think if you right-click on the fill/bucket icon it should pull up other fill options

WHY is this in scraps? This is a brilliant tutorial; it's a pretty fresh idea as far as I know, and it would really help people who want to try drawing in anime/animated style. I've been attempting drawing screenshots for the longest time and never really got the hang of it, and this tutorial will really help.
