Done in commemoration of beating ICO!...A long time ago...
Ah yes, it was a great game, in the same ways Shadow of the Colossus was a great game (where SoC was scary as hell, ICO was complicated as hell... not to mention had a constant cause for paranoia.)
The words in the art:
"Say "nonomori"-- hopeless warriors"
They were actually from the song that this piece was inspired off of, "You Were There", the ending theme of ICO. Don't ask me what 'nonomori' means, they speak a different language (neither english or japanese... it's a made up one like SoC) so I'm assuming that 'nonomori' meant something in the game.
In anycase, Ico is the boy with the horns, Yorda is the girl. The image was a scene in the game that I thought was my fav. So yeah.
Don't comment on the background, I know it's craptastic. I hate backgrounds. TT___TT And unlike you full-Photoshop package people out there, I don't have nifty brush designs in my PS to make purty backgrounds.
So Bleh.
Oh yeah, ICO belongs to... Sony. Or... who ever it was the designed the makeup of the game. They rock.

"not to mention had a constant cause for paranoia" .. So true ! When those black demons got her and started flying away while you were being beaten down was way too much in terms of paranoia.
And pff, backgrounds are overrated especially if the characters are great. (Just like now)
Either way, Ico is an fantastic game and I would sure like to see more Ico/SoTC related work from you

At the beginning where you first meet Yorda, I kept dying because the black demons kept getting to her and I didn't know how to save her. (The manual sucked. D
Too bad it was so short. It was amazing.

Hehe yup it was quite stressing. Especially when they had actually gotten her into that portal and she was sinking into nothingness (or whatever was in there).
And yey, hopefully I'll be able to see those pictures of yours sometime .P
