Continuing splurge of collegeworkdom!

Okay! This is actually my second stilllife done in my painting class. I'd upload a picture of my first if I had taken a photo of it. And I'd take a photo of it if I still had the painting itself. And I'd go get the painting if I hadn't already given it away.

Hahahaha...

Anyway, another disappointment, though this painting turned out a bit better than my first still life, which you would understand if I hadn't given away the painting so I could take a photo of it and upload it and show it to you all. We arranged a still life of these lil voodoo dolls there were given to me, my sister, and my friend as Christmas gifts. It was supposed to be BatBoy, the Ninja and the Pirate. The pirate's drunk at the bottom, the Ninja overlooking the pirate and ready to strike, and Batboy (not shown in the painting) is hovering over them all, looking hardcore.

There's a pikachu in the painting! Did you know? I'll give everyone cake if you can find it.

So, I was having trouble with this entire painting itself while making it. At the time, I wasn't all that comfortable working with oil, so it took more hours that it needed to to get finished. It's only a 12 by 18 painting for crying out loud! I failed with the reflections in the wine bottle though.

Done in Oil in too many hours.

By the way, the pikachu's not in the painting. Lawl.

And the cake is a lie.
