While the original stop-motion Rudolph movie still has some charm to me, I ironically watched the direct-to-sequel CGI animated sequel more with my younger brother when we were little... even if it has NOT aged well. That said, one of the better elements of this film is the anti-villain "The Toy Taker", who essentially walked so Lotso-Huggin'-Bear could run! His mannerisms and song remained rent-free in mind on-and-off through my adolescence all the way up to now. It felt reasonable to do a tribute to him for the winter season as one of my first recognizable anti-villains. I always found his misguided, but understandable motivation to be fitting for his redemption in the end.
