I hope it's thorough enough. The reason I didn't go into the lighting effects part too much is because it varies time and time again as I try new ideas.

Enjoy.

Hey thanks! This helped me a lot! I've been recommending this to some people the last few days, they all liked it a lot. But what brush thickness do you use for inking? I can't seem to get it right myself.

I use a 2 px size.

And would you use a slightly larger brush when widening the lines a little? That's what I do.

Fantastic! There's been so much change from when you first started in DA. Sheldon has such a nice illustration value.
That Paint tool SAI sure is one hell of a tool, eh?

Thanks, bro. Yup, it's a VERY awesome program to work in. Even better that it can edit PS files somewhat, too!

Very good! This should definitely help me for the future. I'm definitely gonna try the inking technique for the next drawing I do(which I'm currently working on)

Also, when doing that "action" line thing you do when sketching, can I use references of your drawings and other stuff for help? I'm not sure if it's plagiarism or not.

Glad it's good enough.

Be my guest.

Thanks.

Also one more question: On the second phase of the inking step, how thick are the small lines that further indicate the shading?

I used the Sheldon eating idea as well, except one of my characters is actually (beginning) to enjoy it. Hope you don't mind.

Very thin, I use 1 px size.

That's what I thought. They should be close enough to each other as long as they're not touching one another.
