I really like this tutorial, but there is a... slight problem when talking with experts, especially on dA. Either they are too busy, treat to message as spam, or reply so late that it is irrelevant. No offence.

Anyway, what brush size do you use for lineart, if you are using Photoshop?

Yes, I know, it is difficult for us to answer the questions, but it is understood, sometimes even no time at all.

Anyway you can always see their art and take ideas from it. Sometimes it's hard to know how they did it, but the practice is always perform well.

Yes, if I use photoshop. The brush I use is either to let me use the pen pressure with a measure of 3 to 5 pixels. In Photoshop CS5, I used the first brush of the second line.

Thanks for the tip, i usually practice as much as i can, and my style kinda reshapes itself monthly as a result.

Ah, i see. I use pen pressure, too.

I really, really liked the idea of using a pattern/texture brush to follow as a guideline for the chain. Pretty clever and very useful!!. Thanks for sharing ^^

Even though I'm not a human artist (or use photoshop I use sai) this is very...very helpful. Usually my lines come out wobbly in some areas so it's easy to notice. I try to fix them, but sometimes it's even worse...do you have any tips for that?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rusembell In reply to ZombiiCandy [2012-05-11 22:55:42 +0000 UTC]

I think what might help you is to make the pictures bigger, in the end only reduce the size, so when you reduce it will hide many details as these.

Another is to use the "pen", but I do not know if the UPS does.

It is the easiest way ~
