I made this using the same method as I used while making tree...? ( graphite, colored pencils and markers with a touch up in adobe elements).... I cleaned up the white areas using adobe but other than that it was mostly traditional..... (exept the background... of course)....any way I made this because there arn't a whole lot of good original characters in the sci fi department.... just a bunch of ALIEN copys and dinasaurs ... >.> THe dinasaurs were pretty cool though.... any way im rambling..

I like the juxstaposition between light and dark here - the shading and the fading into the white background is beautifully rendered. The mud drips seem to give the impression of angst for the creature here, although it seems to be smiling as it plays

Really amazing lighting, and I like the amount of detail you put into it, not too much or too little. Very cool alien-type creature, I really like it, and the pose is great.

so weird i've not uploaded yet but I had to come up with a character conecpt for electrical safety poster, Mine was a scary humanoid ratty lizard thing, and very similar to this! though with my usual scratchy lines then this wonderful shading and awsome detail!
