I recently started reading Primal Rage: The Avatars which was the novelization of the cancelled sequel to the fighting game from the 90's "Primal Rage". Needless to say I've been thinking a lot lately about this awesome fighting game and wanted to explore some designs of what a potential reboot of the series would be like.
This first illustration is of Diablo who is the god of evil and destruction. His domain is the Inferno and his move set was mostly fire based. My main problem was that Diablo was almost identical to another Tyrannosaur named Sauron. For a reboot I'd love to see him redesigned as a Carnotaurus which I think would be more fitting as this species certainly has a devil like appearance.
I figured I'd upload the line work too as someone else will undoubtedly be able to color it better than I. ^_^
