I like it, the one thing I'd do is in the glare node that is set for streaks has an angle slider. Set it to closer to 45 degrees, this will turn the direction of the streaks so they're not perfectly vertical. It looks much better that way. (I assume you did this in Blender's compositor? if not, disregard this comment)

Not the artist, but raised a point there I didn't think about before. Angled diffraction spikes do look better on closer, moving sources of light, while even "Bethlehem rays" seem more appropriate for distant stars.
Guess it may be a cultural thing. So long as different spike types are not mixed, all should be well.
