Super Smash Bros. Brawl was my first Smash game, and my first fighting game. It introduced kid me to so many Nintendo characters that I would come to love, like Link and Kirby. But, what if instead of Nintendo characters, it had Disney characters? Come with me as I tell you all about the alternate timeline where this game was known as Disney All-Stars Brawl.

Brawl was the first Smash game that removed characters from the previous game, so let's first go over all the no-shows.

I added two more tag team fighters with Timon & Pumbaa, and the Lost Boys from Neverland, because I like those kinds of fighters. Jane will be joining Tarzan in this game, and Christopher Robin and Rabbit are here to make up for Piglet and Eeyore's absences. Similarly, Scar replaces Young Simba as Simba's semi-clone. Mulan would kinda be like the Zero Suit Samus of this game. You know, because everyone thinks she's a guy?

Sakurai added Pit to Brawl to once again represent Nintendo's retro games. For that, I've added Darkwing Duck and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. In case you don't know, Oswald was Walt Disney's first signature character that he created. His more popular brother Mickey would later take center stage, pushing poor Oswald into obscurity. Since this game would've been made before Epic Mickey, Oswald would still be obscure at this point, making him a secret character. Speaking of secret characters, next is Yen Sid from Fantasia. He's like the R.O.B. of this game, being an older face for Disney. You know, because his name is Disney backwards?

Replacing Kairi will be Riku. As for Kingdom Hearts in general, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pete will all have their Kingdom Hearts designs as their main costumes. Sora's design is updated to how he appears in Kingdom Hearts 2. Finally, we have Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, and our first two guest characters. For simplicity, I'm gonna assume that Disney would have treated their subsidiaries such as Pixar and Marvel as third parties for this game. Although, there will still be an actual third party character: Roger Rabbit. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a very adult film, which would make Roger a good analogue for Snake. And finally, we have Buzz Lightyear from Pixar's Toy Story.

For some crazy cross promotion, I imagine Disney's version of Subspace Emissary would've contained a few scenes from Kingdom Hearts 2, creating a shared universe.
