Watching to door, for anything more than an ordinary life.
I remember the days, new beginnings on an open page.
Something to prove, nothing to lose, not a soul to betray....

So yeah, it's been FOREVER since I drew Calius and Q together, and even longer since I've drawn a YOUNG Calius with Q and god knows when I last drew Shatt

Didn't turn out exactly the way I had in my head, but I'm still fairly pleased with it. I'm not good with forward facing faces, so sorry if they look a little wonky >__<;

Yeah, both Cali and Q kinda have some slight design changes, but I mean common, it's been almost FIVE FREAKING YEARS since Defiance|Alliance became a thing!!

Anyways, it's a nice break from photos and I'm sure from boring you guys with my ADIP stuff. I have plans to draw more Cali and Q stuff cause I miss these two ;w;

Q's two colored eyes: Short and skinny, Calius and Q have a pact together and the eye is a sign of it. It enables Calius to talk to Q telepathically (Something only Qs can do between each other ) and Q can feel Calius' emotions and pains. If Calius is murdered or killed due to ill-harm, Q dies with her, natural causes of death or self preference to die would not effect Q. Q gains "mortal consequences" through the pact pretty much. It sounds cliche but wasn't done out of much given preference of choice at the time, but is not something that is regretted. (And can only be done is a Q is "True" to said person, so clearly he didn't do it for his own devices. This pact goes back a long way in the History of the Q and is explained in out story but would take way too much reading to explain on here. If you're really that curious, note me )

Q's Uniform Choice: In D|A, Q hides among the Defiant (not to be confused with DS9's Defiant) as a security officer or petty officer. He is personally assigned to Calius along with another character of ours, Jason Gerald . It also is a metaphor for his lack of self confidence after he gains a conscience about changing the timeline and how it negatively (although made Calius exist all together) effect Calius' life.

I'd link to the wiki, but as Hannah and Me are slowly rebooting D|A (since we did not safe it and want it archived and improved with less random events and more actual plot devices and better character development) we need to update the Wiki as well along with it...whenever we get the time :/ But I hope that explains a little at least!
