Settings to have all of your panels floating.I had sooo much difficulty finding this ;__; Keeping this here in case something happens to my comp down the road.Note; Make sure to keep the original settings saved somewhere in case you want to change it back. Make sure Sai is closed when you do this!

I recommend watching the vid too. Very helpful information on brush settings, color and the sliders.
Directions
1. Go to where you installed Sai Paint tool in My Computer.
2. Open Up Misc.ini with Notepad.
3. Change the settings you have to what’s in the above image
4. Save the document, close it.
5. Go to “start-sai.exe” to open sai (will make the changes take effect).
Done~

I want to put a color tool and a brush on the right and apart from it put on the left, how to do it?

yes i figured it out!
you have to first make a new canvas,
click on windows
and there are options that says
"show layer panel to right"
"show color and tool to the right"
if they are clicked and checked off they will appear to the right, if you
uncheck them they go back to the left
i hope this is understanding lmao

It won't let me save the changes for some reason

Run Notepad as Admin then open the file from the Admin Notepad

i was going to comment that it didn't work but then i realized i didn't one of the 1's to a 0

For me it won't let Sai change back to the old, even if I change the " 1 " to " 0 "

change PopupPanels and PopupNavigator to 0 instead of 1

im not sure if you've resolved that problem, but what you do is
follow instructions 1 and 2 in the desc. of this, scroll to where it says "pop up panels" and underneath it says "show nav., layer, color, and panel with popup window"
if you notice underneath that it says 0 = embeded and 1 = pop up
so what you do is go to where it says "popup panels = (insert 1 or 0 here)" and type in 1 after the = for pop up panels or 0 for no pop up panels and repeat for the navigator one
