Description The difference between the last one and the second last one here is I forgot to take screeshots and I was going to do a plain background but it ended up being much more... hope ye like. Oh and the fourth pick is me blocking in where my character is, and then I make a layer above that one with my sketch and put them as a clipping group so I can paint with no fear of running over the edges... my sketch I either paint over or turn the opacity down a bunch so I know what I'm doing but the ugly sketch doesn't get in the way. For shading I use a multiplier mode layer, set out my pallet of color and eyedropper both the normal color and the multiplied color (turning off and on the multiply layer every time I switch to a new material)and switch them with x while painting for shading. I'll make a tutorial, but it makes shadows easy for painting on one layer, or not using a separate multiply layer as the actual part of the painting.
