10: Something Strange

The next day Emma is walking down the street on her way home. As she passed by an alley, some faint voices caught her attention, her senses telling her who they were. She shouldn't go but without thinking she went to take a look and see what was going on.

Emma approached carefully and saw Henry and Martha some distance away. They seemed to be arguing, bad luck that they were further away than her keen sense of hearing would allow, if only they would take a few more steps towards her....

At one point Henry hugs Martha, it was clear that this was simply a couple's argument. When they separate, Martha's eyes turn to where Emma is, hiding quickly, that horrible presence is getting denser and denser. Her head began to spin so she left as fast as she could for home.
