8: Jelous
The day was beautiful, sky clear and fresh air, it was perfect to go out. Everything was so enjoyable that Emma forgot how nervous she was at the thought of going out with Alex. They arrived at the meeting place almost at the same time and while they were talking they bought something for lunch before looking for a fun activity to do.
"Have you ever visited the Castle?" Alex asked, pointing to a group of people gathered near the entrance.
Emma thought it was interesting to visit it so she agreed. When the tour ended, Emma began to talk about how the art, architecture and landscape of the Castle completely fascinated her.
— Emma: Excuse me, I think I talked too much.
— Alex: Oh no, not at all, I like listening to you.
She would be lying to herself if she said those words didn't make her blush, couldn't help but smile back at Alex with a genuine smile. She was surprised at how well they get along, he really is a guy with very nice feelings. Maybe she could open her heart and give him a chance.
Therein, she felt a familiar presence in the area, there wasn’t need to turn around to know who it was, Henry. Accompanied by the same heavy and strange presence that appeared in the library, Martha.
Emma didn't know but Henry kept glancing in her direction, trying to figure out who she was spending the day with. Martha kept dragging him around all the places so he could only see the profile of Emma's companion until they were out of sight, leaving him with a horrible feeling of jealousy.
