FULL VIDEO TUTORIAL(10:18 long)
**NOTE: The concepts in this tutorial can apply to any medium. (I just happened to use Copics to explain it.)
I talk about light and shadow and show four examples of lighting angles on the face. Should be very helpful for beginners If you use this tutorial, feel free to show me what you've made!

I just recently got Copic Markers. They're a bit more challenging than colored pencils, but I like them so far. I still need a lot more practice though.

Yeah, they're pretty different compared to colored pencils, but they're also great to use together Using the markers as a base for colored pencils, or using the colored pencils as final touches, or a mix

I'm just starting to tackle backgrounds so the Copic Markers work great for that. I use the color pencils mainly for hair/fur and skin.

I got some brush markers for X-mas, watching was a big help at trying to figure out how to actually use them

They are supposed to work like watercolors, but they are much darker. So, still learning. May just only ever use the black one for deep shading -_-

It took me a long time to get the hang of them, and I still find myself learning new things Give it time and experiment a lot. You'll get there!
