Well, I used ACAD to model it and then rendered in AccuRender. The Modelling and sketching bit takes some time as you want to get the right shapes and composition!

I love all the repeated elements and shades in this. From the windows on the building, to the trees spread throughout the piece as well.
The image is extremly well balanced and very dynamic. I love the shadows of the palm trees, this is just such an excellent render.
I could totally see this on a pamplet or postcard for some resort.

Thx for the beautiful comment, I appreciate your attention to the details. Im glad you liked it. In many arab countries, the mountains and rivers are missing in most areas so I think they developed a rather dynamic sort of architecture which acts like a kind of landscape.
In the olden days, they had the houses packed so close to each other that the streets were so narrow that they were in perpetual shade for most of the day, hence helping pedestrians walk in cool shade. These houses always had an inner courtyard with a small well.
Palm trees have been a crop of sustanence and monetary means in the Arabian Gulf as well as S Iraq, in the ancient times of Mesopotamia and Babylon, there were thick and intensely dense forests of short palm trees, these were so perilous to travel through that they acted as a natural barrier between S Iraq and the Persians.

It looks quite warm there, better bring a hat
then go walking down the street! But you also have to wear sunscreen cause you dont want to get a sun burn, they dont look so good, trust me 
I like the colours, and it looks so clean!
Unlike my room, which i tried to clean.. but failed miserably to do so...
