It's a good place to eat. It doesnt exist. I used some flamboyant textures here. The brushed aluminium was used a lot as well.What can I say, visit it, but if you want a burger, it may not be served!

whoa nice
the layout of seating seems very appropriate and missing in a lot of restaurants
although lighting is a bit too bright for cosy dining, but this is also good as it shines on the metal railings and glassware/silverware
this looks very much like a photograph!
reckon you should submit this to the new 'my restaurant rules' contestants!

It took 3-4 days to model and around 30 mins to render. I was very clever in using as few polygons as possible....

OKay when rendering this - i think the angle or the zoomity (dunno the correct techy term) makes the pic a bit to the slant... notice the chairs at the bottom left.
details are good - you with your standard stone/sand colour preferences.
try to make your renderer to use media and atmospheric effects a bit more... might give the spotlights more effect.
Also i'd like to see rendering of stained glass sometime in the future.
overall pretty good to make it daily deviant.

Thanks for the cool tips man..I was trying to break free of my usual materials but I still sort of ended up using same tones...haha...the zoom angle will create this...cos its a narrow 1.8x3m place so its touch to toggle back in an enclosed space...u'll notice that in many similar shots in interior magazines....
I will definately try to incorporate the the stuff u told me..now thats some good tips to work on! Have a nice day!

the AA on some of the shadows..... needs some work.. same with the highlights
also.. u might want to look into color bloom on some things
but overall quite nice

This is amazing. There's hardly anything I CAN critique. The only thing I see is the wood of the floor needs to look a little more realistic. That might be achieved with some photo incorporating. Absolutely amazing...

Just another stunning work of art. I still am struggling to believe this is 3D. The lighting is fantastic. Great composition and attention to the finer details. Simply amazing... if I can ever be this good I would be the happiest woman on earth. I love the perspective of this one...

Detaialing is cool and of course the most time consuming criteria....but if done properly and at a height of creativity, the returns are really good....
