This is...just a fantastic tutorial. I've never had a confident procedure for a whole digital painting, start to finish, and this has given me some fantastic ground rules. Thank you so much!

I love your drawing. The dragon looks great and the kind gesture of him (her?) protecting the kid from the rain is just nice.
This picture has a really touching atmo around it, I love it.
Keep it up!

I would love to see the final result at full size. You said yourself that the picture is quite large.
An amazing tutorial, nonetheless.

By the way, what tablet do you use? I read somewhere you use Wacom, but which one exactly?

Wow, I've read all of the four parts of this tutorial and it's great how you make it all seems so easy. I really like your technique, it looks like it's not that hard to get into it. I've been thinking about buying a tablet and starting exploring the digital painting techniques myself and this was really encouraging. Thanks for sharing!

Hey! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial and brush tool! I'm thinking that you use one of the CS photoshops, so I need to ask you a question. In PS elements 6, I was able to rotate the brush any way I wanted. In CS3, which I have now, I cannot find that option. Do you happen to know where it is on the program?

Thank you so much for making this tutorial
I've been struggling with my own painting techniques for the longest time, not knowing if I was on the right track or not. But after seeing this I realize that I'm finally on the right track!
I cannot thank you enough for sharing this with everyone and stilling my doubts
