i'm not that good at all, and to be honest i'd be happy with half of it (which is probably the most i can dream of without a tablet), but i understand how everything is done in theory, which helps me a lot. the only thing i keep getting confused with is the different layers. would you mind to just shortly explain what's in each layer in your pictures usually? that would make it more clear for me, i'd be grateful

Your coloring style is so rich and cohesive, thanks a lot for sharing. I always have the hardest time getting my colors to go together naturally and still be ambient.

Thank you so much for your tutorial. It has greatly assisted me in my first experience with digital art coloring. I keep looking back at it especially for backgrounds. It's definitely my weakness and I don't want the background to be too loud, as it's not the focus of the picture. Check out my gallery soon if you want to see what I used the tutorial for directly. As much as the turorial itself helps me, I gotta say I love your custom brush to bits. @w@ I am a little curious on how you made it. Let's say I want one myself, since I suspect you don't want me to run crazy on my commissions with your brush. ;3 Great tutorial, by the way. Your work is stunning as usual!

Great tutorials. I've tried painting on photoshop before, but I stopped because painting by hand was easier and I couldn't get the same effects. With your tutorials I have gotten a lot better and I am able to transition from canvass to photoshop.

Hi I've got a question about the last step..the sharpen filter...when I do it with a pic that has a smaller image size it looks awesome..but when I do it with a larger pic the effect is very minimal...but I would like to achieve the same effect with the larger pics in case I'd want to print them
can you help me out with this?

under the same place where you find the sharpen filter, there is another sharpen tool called unsharp mask. it has some sliders you can try out... maybe it works better.
