Description
Some people watching my video were curious as to how I managed to adjust a certain area of my image when the image is painted on many layers.I do it using ctrl + shift + c.

Lol I didn't know so many people asked the same question, but this is such a great trick.
About the complex background getting in the way, I tried this technique on my last painting and when I ctrl+shift+C an area, I turned off the Background so when I pasted it the background wasn't apart of it, creating less re-painting

yeap. usually i don't separate my background from my foreground, so sometimes it's a pain.

I didn't know this! That's so awesome! OAO
Thank you so much!
But wouldn't it only be the head if you make the background invisible before you do this?

In this case I painted the background along with the foreground. (which is what I usually do) XD I'm messy.

No need to repaint, just click+clone the rest will follow short.

I still think that sounds a lot more clever than making hundreds of layers and spending half of your time locating wherever it was you really drew.

actually once you really get used to it its not that bad. thats what grouping layers is for lol. thats what i do when i paint characters on backgrounds. but then again everybody has different preferences

xD
I try to limit my layers though, but I always keep making more on larger drawings as I do some slight edits.
