Something tells me that there are people escaping the DSSC and the ISLM, both of their ideologies are one of fear and terror, I dont know what novel this is from but I hope the DSSC and ISLM fall very soon and their people from marxist and Islamic tyranny.

okay, my inner Geopolitics Nerd is tearing this map to shreds, for these reasons:
"Mormondia" should be called "Deseret " and should have wider borders (maybe--clockwise from north--Snake River, the Rockies, Colorado, and...the Sierra Nevada range, though that's a bit far), or shouldn't exist at all.
The borders of the Republic of Texas make no sense at all, except for keeping the Sabine River the eastern border. Why Mexico would take San Antonio and not the coastline going up to, say, Corpus Christi is beyond me, especially considering that the terrain going west from San Antonio is pretty rough...
... I'm Texan okay
... and why Texas really wants Oklahoma and the Ozarks is completely beyond me, especially since there isn't really anything to anchor them.
I'm surprised the Denver-Albuquerque-Phoenix corridor thing in the UFC isn't its own country centered around the Colorado River, maybe stretching down into the Cartel Lands at least to the Gulf of California.
The Free Cities make no sense. Points for remembering that Eastern and Western Washington are very different, but that eastern border just kinda stretches into the nowhere. Also, where did a region that sparsely populated (and that big) get the money to build a wall with Canada? And what on Earth is going on around Vegas?
Speaking of Vegas, why does it exist? OTL Las Vegas is entirely dependent on Lake Mead , and by extension the Hoover Dam and Colorado River, to keep existing; the UFC or not-Deseret could just cut it off higher up or run a mission to blow the thing up and make them have a bad time.
Cascadia works, you're fine there, though I have a feeling they'd try to take Vancouver Island or at least more of the Salish Sea area than they have in this map.
Ditto with DSSC, though I'd expect a country centered around the Sacramento and San Joaquin basins and San Francisco Bay and trying to retake LA and San Diego (because nice ports). Also not sure what an "MLR Buffer Zone" is, so I can't comment on that.
If Canada's aggressive enough to take northern Minnesota and all of Maine (which, really? There?), then why not blow the shit out of Detroit? Or invade upstate New York, or more of the aforementioned Salish Sea? Are they just really pissed at the UFC and not bothering with Cascadia or the Islamic State of Lower Michigan--
The Islamic State of Lower Michigan.
...
all that said, though, it's a pretty decent map. Shows what it needs to, clear, shows the lay of the land as it is. Well-done mapmaking.
now if I could find that author...

Correct on all points!
This thing is a smorgasbord of neo-conservative fears.
The only thing I recognize out of this mess is Cascadia.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascadiaβ¦
I'd make some comments, but my gods, there's so much wrong here, I'd still be commenting when The British Commonwealth decided to intervene to restore Pax Brittania and some semblance of civilization over the region.

Hey, no prob; the map is great. (If it weren't, I wouldn't have been able to make all those points; I'd just be like "what the hell is going on")

The bio-hazard symbol next to Sacramento is... interesting.Β Or is it supposed to be over San Francisco?Β Given the amount of human waste and needles on the sidewalks right now, it wouldn't surprise me if that's what it meant.
