Description
i've had a bunch of people ask me how to do this (possibly because i use the halftone effect so freaking much), so i figured i'd make a simple tutorial explaining it so i don't keep having to. then i added some sashas to amuse myself. hopefully it is big enough to be readable.hope this helps. i use Photoshop CS, but from my experience with CS2 and 3 it's pretty much the same.
blahblah sasha's mine, she was made w/ microns, but most everything is alllll photoshop.

Great tutorial! Also i'm sure we can agree we'd rather see Sasha pop up than that annoying paperclip.

I was probably one of those people you had to explain this to, at least once.
Thanks for putting this up. Also, I've tried it in PS7 and it works just as well. Just to say it can work in (hopefully) any Photoshop version. (not just CS)^_^;

I remember a different way , It involved changing the document in to bit map mode (or something) but this looks way easier....
I actually made a screen tone textured brush once...

yea, that's how i used to do it in the older photoshops, this is easier because you don't have to go all bitmappy and therefore ruin the colors/layers.

i hope no one expects more tutorials 8-8 this is all i can do for you. i hope it helps people, though. i find it's easier to figure stuff out when you see how to do it too.
