How sweet. Yes, you will be seeing more of my stuff. I don't know how soon though!!! But I'm working on apo daily. Sometimes it's just a half hour - but I make sure I do something with it daily.

Hi - I am doing your tutorial here (I am very new to apo) and I am stuck at Xform 3, where it says "Now click Post transform and move it up and resize them with a 1:3 ratio."
OK - I clicked a post transform button, and I am wondering how to move it up, and what is a 1:3 ratio? How do I get that? Do I use the transform box for that or do I use the Triangle box?????
I'm really trying to learn this program.
Thanks for the tut. Very much appreciated!

Yeah in fact it's in the transform box.
You select 1 unit for your Y axis (or X axis)and 0.3 units for your X axis (or Y axis).
This is simply the 1:3 ration it's like 1/3 or 0.3333333 for 1

I'm trying this out, but X-form 3 doesn't get me the same result at all. The only thing I can see that might be wrong is that the cylinder and pre-blur plugins I have are both 3D, and not 2D as shown in your picture here.

You can send me your params if you dare me to take a look at what is wrong here

Ah, I actually don't have them anymore. I kind of gave up on the splits-elliptic and went on a trial-and-error run for a few days instead.
I learned quite a bit about how it works that way, and I'm fairly happy with the results, too. You can look at them if you like: [link]
