Description
A square-ish shaped icon theme from the Numix Project and Joshua Fogg.The icon theme contains application icons and works best with the Numix icon theme .
If you have few bucks to spare, please purchase the icon theme to support the project and show that you appreciate the work and time spent into making the icon theme. Every dollar counts!
Here are proper instructions on how to request an icon .
Installation instructions
Ubuntu users can install Numix Square from our Ubuntu Software Center.
NOTE: The price in USC is higher due to it's minimum price limit of $2.99.
Manual installation
Extract the zip file to the icons directory i.e. /usr/share/icons/
Troubleshooting
If you have problems in applying the icon theme, try changing the permissions with the following command,
chmod -R 775 /usr/share/icons/Numix-Square

Hi, I would like to buy these icons, however if I do it through the donation option on the website, will I receive any (potential) updates through email? As in, a never version of the pack with more icons (if you update it of course).

I just wanted to thank you and your team for the Numix project, it's seriously one of the best theme suites I've ever seen. And this is easily the most beautiful icon set I've seen for GNU/Linux.

The icon theme works good but since it doesn't contain icons for the statusbar it shows the fallback icons which are very ugly

It has been said countless time that you need Numix-icon-theme installed for this icon set to inherit the mime types and so on. Please install Numix-icon-theme which is the base. Nothing wrong with these icons.

Kick ass icon set. Good application coverage and the base icon set seems mostly complete on KDE (just a few items in the settings menus that default to hicolor). Nice work!

The google chrome icon seems to be broken with the latest chrome version for me (happened both in my arch linux install and ubuntu box), any idea on how to fix it? (it's just the regular chrome icon plus it's blurry).

Hi, when I purchased and download zip file, I found there were two files in zip Numix-icon-theme-square.zip and Numix Square icons.zip. Which one should I use to put it /usr/share/icons directory? Thanks!
